This blog is aimed at a certain audience (even though it might not use the right resources & approaches at times). No one is saying one is better than the other, bas kel el nas ghair. No one give me the bull about everyone having nafs el taqaleed wel 3adat bel Kuwait . That’s just not true. You may look at it that way now with our generation but each one of you go to your grandmother. Their lives alone are all so very different. Like for instance medical remedies ako things people from Faris do , people from Zubair do, people from Najd do and so on. No one wants to delete their past but infact hold on to bits and parts of what they can and take it into the future with them. 3adat wtaqaleed elkhi6ba mathalan 3end lejna3at ghair, 3end el neyada ghair. Alot of things are different. Was3aw Balkom. Mafeha shay and we’re not being racist. Im not saying I dont want to sit down and eat with someone who isn’t from my backround, I’m not saying they should sit on the back of the bus, la2 bas ga3da agol I dont want to build a family with him/her. As sad as that sounds , even if I fell in love with someone who had different roots I wouldn’t want to raise children w/him , confusing our kids . Ya3ni el7amdillah, the way we do things in the Gulf is good. We know our past, we are connected to it. Unlike people in the States n such, they’re last names rarely ever mean anything. Atleast we have a past whether its Farsi, Yemeni whatever. Atleast its consistent. A3ed wagoul it doesnt make me any better that I’m Naydiya, la financially wela academically wela socially.
